He is a natural leader with a strong work ethic and forward-thinking approach, ensuring projects stay on track and are completed to a high standard.
Cam plays a key role at DCL in maintaining high quality standards and delivering excellent results across all of our projects.
Sam Sunde
Sam is a dedicated Project Manager with experience across both residential and commercial construction. Over the past eight years, she has become a key part of the family business and a trusted contact for site teams and clients.
She helps ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard, using a practical and organised approach from planning through to completion.
With a background in teaching, Sam brings clear communication, strong leadership, and a calm, solutions-focused mindset to every project. She’s approachable, hands-on, and plays an important role in keeping teams supported and projects running smoothly at DCL.
Bruce Downing
Bruce brings over 40 years of construction experience and is the driving force behind DCL. His knowledge, attention to detail, and commitment to quality have helped build the company’s strong reputation.
From concept to completion, Bruce ensures every project meets a high standard of workmanship and delivers what clients expect. He is known for his clear direction, problem-solving ability, and hands-on approach to every build.
While he is now taking on more of a mentoring role within the business, Bruce remains a strong presence on site and continues to lead by example. His experience and leadership are a valued part of every project DCL delivers.
Vanessa Downing
Vanessa is the heart of DCL. Working alongside Bruce, she manages the financial and administrative side of the business, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
She keeps things organised and running efficiently, from accounts to day-to-day coordination, always with care and attention to detail.
Vanessa is also known for supporting the wider team wherever needed, often stepping in to help on site or assist with logistics. Her dedication, hard work, and positive attitude make her an essential part of the DCL team.
